Poppi's Anatolia sits on Willamette Street in Eugene, offering a unique blend of Greek and Indian flavors that sets it apart from most local eateries. The restaurant is full-service and geared toward those looking for a varied, sit-down meal that brings together two rich culinary traditions under one roof.

The space has recently moved to a larger location, which makes it easier to find parking and more comfortable for groups. The atmosphere balances warm, natural wood tones with deep reds, creating a cozy yet vibrant environment. Lighting is low and intimate, lending itself well to dinner dates or quiet evenings out rather than large family gatherings or noisy celebrations.

Poppi's Anatolia’s menu is genuinely diverse—the mix of Indian and Greek dishes means there's something for fans of both cuisines, or for those eager to try something different. On the Greek side, dishes like spanakopita, melitzanosalata (eggplant dip), and saganaki stand out as locally praised options. The Indian side offers hearty, comforting plates such as chicken curry, thali platters, and bhajias, perfect for sharing or for a substantial solo meal.

Because the menu is extensive, the experience is well suited for diners who enjoy exploring different flavors across appetizers and entrees. For example, sampling a combination of appetizers before moving on to mains like lamb gyro or kota psiti lets you take in a full range of tastes and textures without feeling rushed. The baklava and clove cakes are reliable finales if you want to end on a sweet note.

Service at Poppi’s tends to be attentive without hovering; they pick up on diners’ pacing and desires, which helps the meal flow comfortably whether you’re in for a lingering dinner or a quicker bite. The staff’s friendliness and knowledge of the menu add to the welcoming vibe.

One important note for visitors: street parking can be limited and sometimes requires payment, so coming with a bit of extra time or willingness to walk from nearby lots is wise, especially during busy evening hours. Reservations are recommended, given the cozy interior, though occasional luck with walk-ins happens.

Poppi's Anatolia suits those who appreciate a moderately upscale casual dining experience with creative cross-cultural cuisine. It works well for couples looking for a low-key dinner spot, friends who want to share plates and try a variety of dishes, or solo diners who want a thoughtful meal in a calm setting. Weeknights may be the best times to visit for easy seating and a relaxed pace. The mix of Indian and Greek food also makes it a good choice for anyone wanting to experience a less typical restaurant menu without going far from Eugene’s downtown.

The new location is great with more space and easier parking. They were super cool and we got a table with no notice (dont recommend, I'd be a responsible adult and make a reservation, lol). We loved the 3 appetizers platter and also got spanikopita and the Souvlaki. All the food was delicious. We made it a quick use dinner date and our server caught on that we wanted to eat and get out of there. What a nice meal after a very long day!

What a treat! Truly delicious food and great people. Normally the menu is a combination of Indian and Greek food, occasionally they have a Greek night with expanded selections — the eggplant dip (Melitzanosalata) and calamari were incredible as were our entrees. We will definitely return to this gem.

Cutest leather bound drink menu - detailed list of all the unknown liquors. Massive points as someone with allergies! The Poppi's Pom Collins was so light and refreshing after a long day. My partner got the house brewed Hibiscus Iced Tea that was rich and full of flavor. The atmosphere is so beautiful with a low light and natural color tones in the wood and rich red tones around the decor. Some nice mellow music to wind down a long day. The food was excellent and did not disappoint. They will be going over to Greek food and away from Indian, we got the gyro plate and the vindaloo chicken curry. Great flavors and a great chunk of bone in chicken in the Curry. Absolutely wonderful little place, glad we found it

The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Please be aware that street parking is required and may involve a fee. The restaurant is somewhat small, so depending on the day and time of your visit, you may experience a wait for a table. Their menu is quite extensive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, including two daily specials and a couple of appetizers to share. We found their mango lassies to be more tart and yogurt-forward than mango-flavored.
